Editorial policy
Silver Public Journal aims to make public life easier to understand through clear, careful writing. We distinguish established information from interpretation and do not present general discussion as advice about a particular public decision.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable information available to us, use precise language and provide context where it helps readers understand a subject. If evidence is incomplete or an interpretation is open to debate, we say so rather than making certainty sound greater than it is.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers and the subject of public life. A commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage, and a partner does not determine our editorial conclusions.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or a meaningful omission, please use the Contact page and identify the relevant article and passage. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, update the text and make the correction clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; when that is the case, we identify them as AI-generated and do not present them as documentary photographs.
